Tom Kha Coconut Soup

Thai lime leaves are a quintessential ingredient in Thai cooking. Enjoy them with this coconut-based soup flavoured with galangal. Special thanks to Preena Chauhan of Arvinda’s for the recipe! 

Leek & Potato Soup

This is one of the most satisfying soups, made from two of the most humble ingredients! It is delicious served cold in the summer - and then it is called Vichysoisse.

Panzanella

Panzanella is a simple Italian bread salad, one of those recipes that always surprises. The ingredients are so basic, yet the results so wonderful. The next time you're faced with a slightly stale loaf of Italian bread or a plethora of tomatoes of any variety, this is the dish.

Curried Tomato Chickpea Soup

This delicious soup is so, so easy. A can of Italian tomatoes, a can of chick peas, stock and some fabulous curry powder!

Quinoa with Orange Sesame Dressing

Quinoa is a wonderful grain and one of the most complete sources of plant protein. It has a mild, nutty flavour, an interesting texture, and is a beautiful blank canvas for other ingredients... especially when fresh summer veggies are in season.

GazpachoThis “soup” can be made ahead and left in the fridge for a refreshing meal just about any time. We keep it in a juice pitcher so it’s ready for a quick lunch, an afternoon pick-me-up or a starter for a lazy summer dinner.
Asian Noodle SaladWhat could be more delicious than a slightly spicy noodle salad? Add a can of our favourite Callipo tuna and you have a main-course summer salad.
Firecracker ShrimpWe're reviving one of our most popular crowd-pleasing appetizers, courtesy of Chef Chris Squire. It's always a phenomenal hit. Serve either cold as an easy make ahead appetizer, or warm over steamed rice or noodles as a sit-down starter.
Wonton SoupFew soups are more delicious than this one: plump wontons floating in a savoury ginger-infused broth with bright, tender, crisp vegetables.
Cheddar Shortbread Crusted OlivesAs served at Jill's 2018 Open House. A while back, a customer recommended wrapping cheddar shortbread dough around olives. What a great idea!
Easy Sardine PastaThis is one of those “no cook” pasta sauces that goes together in the time it takes to cook the pasta. Simple, elegant, delicious and easy!
Curried Turkey SoupWhat could be easier than this delicious soup flavoured with Arvinda’s wonderful spice blend. The perfect soup for turkey leftovers.
Greek Orzo SaladThis delicious Greek pasta salad is an update of one of our most popular salads we’ve ever published. Using Divina’s Marinated Feta and Olives makes this recipe a breeze!
Salad NiçoiseHailing from Nice, France, Salad Niçoise (pronounced "nee-suaz") is a protein-rich, composed salad made with raw vegetables, canned tuna and more.
Olive and Cheese CornbreadWhat could be easier than combining some chopped Olive & Olives jalapeño-stuffed olives with Arva Flour Mill Corn Bread mix. Bake in your 10-inch cast iron pan and you have a delicious savoury bread to accompany a meal.
Chopped SaladThis delicious chopped salad lets you take pride in your knife skills! A wonderful combination of flavours and textures, this is an ideal warm-weather pot luck salad.
Cheese FondueThere's no real "wrong" way to enjoy fondue. It's a fabulous means to enjoy whatever breads, cured meats, fresh fruits and vegetables you might have on hand.
