Start your day off on a healthy note with an energy boosting green smoothie. Many modifications can be made to this recipe depending what you have on hand.
4 cups baby kale, pre-washed
¼ pineapple with core, frozen
1 inch piece ginger (*see substitution)
1 cup green grapes
1 green apple
juice of 1 orange
1 cup water

Combine all ingredients in blender jar. *(You can substitute 2 Tbsp of ginger syrup for a 1 inch piece of ginger).

Pulse on medium speed, adding a little additional water if needed to achieve a thick smooth consistency.
