A simple dessert with a 'wow' factor. Panna cotta is a traditional Italian dessert that translates directly to "cooked cream".

1 envelope of unflavoured gelatin (1 envelope = four gelatin sheets)
3 Tbsp water
2 cups whipping cream
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla paste
1
Sprinkle the gelatin over water and set aside. (Or if using gelatin sheets, soften them in water).
2
In a small pan, bring the cream and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat, add the vanilla paste and let rest for 5 minutes. Add gelatin mixture and stir until combined and the gelatin is completely dissolved.
3
Transfer to six individual ramekins. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
