Butter tarts just got better with the addition of La Fabrick whisky maple syrup!

1 lb your favourite pie dough
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup melted butter
2 large eggs
½ tsp salt
½ cup raisins
½ cup walnuts

Preheat oven to 350F.

Roll out the dough and cut into 4 inch rounds. Place in muffin tin.

In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, eggs, salt raisins and walnuts. Stir until combined,

Spoon filling into the pastry shells.

Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until the pastry starts to turn a light golden.
