Pissaladière Pizza


This pizza features the bold flavours of the south of France!  Great served hot or at room temperature.

 1 lb pizza dough
 1 tbsp butter
 2 tbsp oil
 4 cups sweet onions, sliced
 1 ½ cups grated Emmental or Gruyère
 7 grape tomatoes, cut in half
 12 black olives

Roll out dough to 12-inch round and set aside.

Heat oil and butter in a skillet. Cook onions over medium heat until lightly caramelized.

Place onions on the dough followed by the cheese, anchovies, tomatoes and olives.

Bake on preheated pizza stone 450F for 12-15 minutes.

*Note you can also break the anchovies up and spread them more evenly on the pizza.
