The flavours of B.C. shine in this delightfully easy pasta dish. It comes together in a snap and features West Coast Select Smoked Salmon Paté.

1 Tbsp butter
1 shallot, minced
1 ½ cups whipping cream
½ cup white wine
Zest of 1 small lemon
⅓ cup chopped dill
¼ cup finely sliced green onions
Additional Parmesan for serving

Heat butter in a sauté pan or wok. Add the shallot and cook until soft.

Add the whipping cream and wine and bring to a gentle simmer.

Reduce heat and stir in the salmon.

Cook pasta according to package directions.

When pasta is almost cooked, reserve 1 cup of hot pasta water.

Add the dill to the sauce.

Add the pasta to the sauce. Toss well. Add some of the pasta water if needed to make the sauce very creamy.

Transfer to heated pasta bowls and garnish with green onions and more fresh dill.
