Jill’s Smoky Whiskey Meatloaf
Meatloaf is comfort food at its best. Use Jill’s Table Smoky Whiskey BBQ sauce in this recipe for a delicious weeknight dinner.

1 large onion, diced
1 large stalk of celery, finely diced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
¾ cup breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ lbs lean ground beef or turkey
½ lb lean ground pork
2 eggs
3 slices of bacon cut in half

2In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until soft.
3Add the garlic, salt and pepper. Transfer to a medium bowl.
4To the bowl, add the breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, ground meats, half of the BBQ sauce and the eggs. Mix well.
5Transfer into the Jill’s Table anniversary loaf pan. Flatten with a spatula.
6Spread remaining 1/3 c. BBQ sauce over top. Bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
7Half way through the baking time, place the bacon strips across the meatloaf.
8Let meatloaf stand for at least 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
9Serve with sour cream and green onions.
