A classic dessert recipe gets elevated to new heights with La Fabrick’s Whisky Maple Syrup.
In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of the milk with the cream over medium heat.
In a small bowl combine the remaining ½ cup of milk with the cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.
Whisk the cornstarch mixture into the milk/cream mixture.
Bring to a simmer, whisking constantly. Continue to cook until thick.
Stir in the maple syrup, salt and vanilla.
Transfer to dessert dishes and refrigerate.
Serve with an additional small spoonful of maple syrup.
