No outdoor grill? No problem! Cook a delicious steak indoors featuring our favourite Joe Beef steak spice. The perfect quick and easy dinner for two. Also, truffles and potatoes are a magical combo; this cheese truffle potato is just the ticket to accompany a perfectly cooked steak.

Sizzling Sirloin Steak
 1 8 oz. sirloin tip steak, at room temperature
 1 Tbsp butter
 ½ tsp vegetable oil
Truffle Baked Potato
 1 baked russet potato, cut in half
 ½ cup grated Emmental or Gruyêre cheese
 ½ tsp salt
 Green onion slices for garnish
Recommended equipment

Sizzling Sirloin Steak

Season the steak on both sides with the Butcher’s Blend.

Heat the butter and oil in the de Buyer pan over medium-high heat.

When the butter is bubbling, add the steak to the pan. Cook for 1 and a half minutes.

Flip the steak and cook on the other side for another minute.

Transfer to a rack and let rest for 5 minutes.

Serve with Edmond Fallot mustard on the side.

Truffle Baked Potato

Scoop about 2/3rds of the filling out of each potato half into a bowl.

Add ¼ c. of the cheese, the mushroom truffle puree and combine.

Spoon back into the potato halves.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese over top.

Place in an oven-proof pan in a preheated 400 F. oven for 10 minutes.

Garnish with the green onions.
