These easy-but-elegant appetizers feature several of our favourite Canadian products.

 1 Rougie duck leg confit
 12 Lesley Stowe Raincoast crackers
 12 thin slices of Cows Creamery Cheddar
 12 tsp Jill's Table apple tamarind chutney
 fresh chivesfor garnish

Remove the fat from the duck leg and discard.

Pull the meat from the bone and shred.

Place a piece of cheese on top of each cracker followed by a spoonful of the shredded duck.

Top with chutney and garnish with chive.
