Maple, Maple!

This easy dessert is maple magic!  Favuzzi maple panettone partnered with our best selling whiskey maple syrup and the easiest ice cream recipe you can imagine. Sprinkle with edible gold flake for a spectacular presentation!

GazpachoThis “soup” can be made ahead and left in the fridge for a refreshing meal just about any time. We keep it in a juice pitcher so it’s ready for a quick lunch, an afternoon pick-me-up or a starter for a lazy summer dinner.
Strawberry SmoothieThis not-too-sweet smoothie is perfect for breakfast, or for an afternoon pick-me-up.
Jake’s “New” Old FashionedWe love this new spin on a classic cocktail. Thanks to Jake Hazel of Hunter and Co. for coming up with the recipe featuring our fabulous smoked Gordal olives from Spain!
Georgia GinThe fabulous Teisseire peach syrup is the star in this delicious mocktail also featuring Sobrii non-alcohol gin. As tasty as it is beautiful!
My Father’s Egg NogJill’s Dad was a well-known bartender in London during the 1950s through the 70s. He was famous for his holiday Eggnog recipe. This is a scaled-down rendition.
Maple “No Churn” Ice CreamNow THIS recipe is a game changer! One of the easiest and most delicious desserts ever, it features Martin Picard’s Maple Condensed Milk.
Salad NiçoiseHailing from Nice, France, Salad Niçoise (pronounced "nee-suaz") is a protein-rich, composed salad made with raw vegetables, canned tuna and more.
Summer Italian SandwichFew things can be as satisfying in summer than a delicious sandwich. Ideal for picnics or an easy weeknight dinner on the deck.
Chopped SaladThis delicious chopped salad lets you take pride in your knife skills! A wonderful combination of flavours and textures, this is an ideal warm-weather pot luck salad.
Mussini SpritzMussini’s delicious Vinegar-Bar condiments are fabulous as an ingredient in salad dressings and in cocktails. We love them in this cocktail with Prosecco.
Quickled OnionsQuick pickled sweet onions are a fabulous addition to burgers, salads, and sandwiches of all kinds.
Cucumber CocktailThe refreshing flavour of cucumber and lime are a great way to beat the heat. Qcumber water is delicious on its own!
Cucumber SalsaA nice, refreshing change from typical salsa. This has a light crunch and still packs just a little bit of heat.
Cucumber Tuna CupA delicious marriage of some of our favourite ingredients: Callipo tuna, Kewpie mayonnaise and Proper Heathen Chili Oil Crisp.
Carrot Top PestoTurn something that usually goes into the composter into a delicious take on pesto.
Strawberry Rhubarb TrifleTangy local rhubarb and strawberries nestled between a layer of creamy custard make this a unique spring trifle.
French 75 with a TwistThis cocktail is a true classic. It's zesty, light, and refreshing and can can be enjoyed with or without alcohol.
Lentils with Beets, Walnuts and Goat CheeseI love lentils, particularly the French green Du Puy lentils. These lentils keep their shape and texture much better than most, and the color is more intense. Once you’ve had these it’s hard to go back to any other kind. This salad features sweet roasted beets and goat cheese with the lentils, along with toasted walnuts and a delicious vinaigrette. One of my favourite main-course salads, it can be served with the lentils warm or chilled.
Ran’s Lemon/Olive Tuna CrostiniThis recipe is another example of how versatile our favourite canned tuna is. We love the combination of the tangy olives with the garlicky aioli. If you want to make this a lunch, spread the mixture over a piece of your favourite toasted bread and cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake in a toaster oven to make it a “tuna melt”.
Salmon Fresh RollsThis Thai classic gets an update with the addition of smoked salmon and avocado. Perfect for summer entertaining.
