Full-Time Retail Customer Service representative

This role is part of the Jill’s Table team that supports the needs of our customers. We want you to join our team if you are an individual who has experience working in a retail environment, has skills in completing POS transactions, has a well-developed customer service philosophy and a strong interest in food.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Open and close POS system as required
  • Stock shelves and ensure store is maintained in a professional and safe manner
  • Follow standard operating procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) years retail experience
  • Knowledge of POS systems and ability to work independently at a cash register
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well with a team

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with technology to assist with virtual cooking classes
  • Knowledge of Shopify to assist with e-commerce
  • Basic understanding of receiving

The physical demands of the role require the ability to work on your feet most of the day, light lifting and unpacking of boxes, and travelling up and down stairs.

Jill’s team are made up of dedicated individuals who are dependable, have approachable personalities, are flexible with their time and talents, are life-long learners and like to laugh.

Jill’s Table is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday. This role would be required to work every other Saturday.
